Broguiere's Dairy

If you don't live in the Southern California area, I suggest you don't read this post. You'll just feel bad. Then again, you won't know what you're missing so it can't hurt.   At 505 S. Maple Avenue in Montebello, the far edge of LA,  there is a small dairy that had to ship its cows to Ontario, (California, not Canada) but still processes milk the old fashioned way, and still packages it in glass bottles.
People in the area know the two days of the week when the third and fourth generation Broguiere family make the most amazing chocolate milk. They add cream and chocolate to whole milk, so this is not a daily treat unless you want your thighs to make noise when you walk across the room.
One month a year eggnog is made.   If I didn't already live here, I'd move.
It's not a daily treat either.
